Democrats Continue to Back Iran, Pelosi Moves to Limit Trump’s “War Powers”

After President Donald Trump took decisive action to rid the world of Iran’s primary orchestrator of terrorism, Democrat leaders responded in kind. They rushed to support a regime responsible for killing and injuring thousands of American soldiers.

In a move the White House says averted an imminent attack that was just days away from happening, President Trump green-lit a drone attack that killed Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, leader of the rogue nation’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ elite Quds Force. These forces have been designated as an international terrorist organization, and Soleimani is credited with developing in IED program that killed and maimed thousands of women, children, and U.S. soldiers.

His exploits include directing funds to terrorist organizations and cells that perpetrate violence, suicide bombings, and anti-Semitic hatred. With a pair of Muslim bigots in their own ranks, Democrats went on the offensive aiding Iran and attempting to limit the president’s ability to respond to emerging threats.

“This week, the House will introduce and vote on a War Powers Resolution to limit the President’s military actions regarding Iran,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated in a letter to fellow Democrats.

“It reasserts Congress’s long-established oversight responsibilities by mandating that if no further Congressional action is taken, the Administration’s military hostilities with regard to Iran cease within 30 days.”

Democrats have taken the last few days to assail the president’s decision to take out the evil-doer responsible for the deaths and injuries to more Americans than Osama bin Laden. Officials estimate that Soleimani played a hand in the deaths of upwards of 17 percent of all American service members killed during the Iraq war.

He had operated in the shadows until the Obama years, when he became emboldened by a lack of U.S. resolve. In recent years, he openly directed terror meetings and plotted bombings in Washington, D.C, and other locations on U.S. soil. The limitation Pelosi and Iran-loving Democrats are attempting to impose amount to preemptive surrender. It opens up American troops abroad to grave danger and probable attacks.

After Iran declared retaliation for their terror leader’s death, Pres. Trump made it abundantly clear that the weakness of the previous administration was no more. An attack on an American or any of our critical assets in the region would be met with overwhelming force.

“Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago),” Trump tweeted.

“Some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD. The USA wants no more threats!”

Members of the radical “Squad” include two radical Muslims that have repeatedly called for the U.S. to boycott its closest Middle East ally, Israel. The congresswomen have denounced the move that made the world a safer place for free, peace-loving people. The Squad’s vocal leader, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), joined the fake news media in twisting the president’s words and lending support to the long-standing enemy state.

“This is a war crime. Threatening to target and kill innocent families, women and children — which is what you’re doing by targeting cultural sites — does not make you a ‘tough guy,’” AOC tweeted. “It does not make you ‘strategic.’ It makes you a monster.”

Respected members of Congress have indicated they have grave concerns about extremists such as Pelosi and AOC delivering what amounts to talking points for Iran’s dictators to inflame violence and overcome the powerful deterrence Pres. Trump has established.
