When you get right down to it, “No Lives Matter” should be the Democrat Party’s unofficial slogan. If a person is in any way an obstacle to a Democrat’s lust for power, that individual’s life doesn’t matter in the least to the donkey party. You’d think that Democrats would feel just the tiniest bit of shame after their nursing home policies killed tens of thousands of Americans during the recent epidemic. But there’s no shame for this shameful act. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is doubling down, hoping to top Andrew Cuomo’s nursing home fatality rate.
One thing we know with absolute certainty after all these months is that the Chinese coronavirus is very, very dangerous for the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. The average age of Americans who have died from the bug remains at about 81. We can say with total certainty that the elders are the one group that should be absolutely shielded and protected from this virus. We should keep them isolated and take extraordinary measures to prevent any more loss of life.
But not in Michigan!
Even after the debacles in New York and New Jersey, where Democrat Governors Andrew Cuomo and Phil Murphy managed to cause nearly half of all coronavirus deaths in America, Michigan is still sending sick, infected coronavirus patients to stay in nursing homes. This was a planned, orchestrated event carried out by the Democrat Party.
Back in March when the statewide shutdowns began, numerous Democrat Governors signed an identical executive order. That order said that if a sick person with coronavirus has recovered enough to leave the hospital, nursing homes cannot turn them away. Nursing homes were required – against all the science and even against the better judgment of anyone with common sense – to take in sick, infected coronavirus patients.
The result of that executive order, signed by the governors of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and California, is why America’s coronavirus fatality numbers are so high. Although the governors all blame Trump for the casualties of their executive orders, at least Cuomo and Murphy and the others have had the human decency to rescind those orders.
But Governor Whitmer in Michigan has not. Nursing homes in that state are still required under Whitmer’s order to accept sick coronavirus patients. And it gets worse.
Michigan’s legislature just voted on a bill to overturn Whitmer’s executive order. The bill would have allowed nursing homes to reject sick patients unless they have a separate building – away from the rest of the vulnerable elderly population – to quarantine them until they’re well. The vote wasn’t very close. The House vote came out 74-34 in favor, and it sailed through the Senate.
Whitmer vetoed the bill.
Whitmer then chastised the Republicans in the Michigan legislature, claiming that they were the ones “playing politics” with the lives of elderly nursing home patients. What is Whitmer’s reason for doing this in opposition to basic human decency and all of the science?
Maybe she’s jealous of Cuomo and Murphy’s kill rate in New York and New Jersey. (Wouldn’t want to finish in third place behind the men!) Or maybe she’s just psychotic.
If anyone manages to come up with a vaccine for the coronavirus, Whitmer will probably be the first Governor to make it mandatory to take the vaccine and get microchipped if you want to buy or sell in her state. She’s that kind of special tyrant.
Speaking of which, the vaccine trials are not going well. The main vaccine trial in the US, being overseen by Dr. Anthony Fauci’s National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Disease, made nearly all of the recipients sick. Half of the total number of people who took the shots willingly had at least one adverse reaction. Among the patients who took higher dosage amounts of the vaccine, being developed by Moderna, all of the recipients had at least one serious, adverse reaction.
Symptoms include intense joint pain, myalgia (muscle and ligament pain), headaches, chills, fever and nausea. One person had to be removed from the study after the first dose of the vaccine caused them to break out in total-body hives. Oops.
If the “vaccine” turns out to be worse than the cure, don’t worry. Governor Whitmer won’t let you play politics. She’s going to make you take the shot.
